Bloglines

There are many RSS News Readers out there.  Each telling it's own story as to why it should be selected.  One that I have used recently is Blonglines.  Bloglines is an Ask.com property that will allow you to track blogs and RSS feeds and even publish.

The really cool thing is that there is not any software to download as it is an online platform.  One of the great benefits of that is that you can check your newsreader from any computer anywhere provided you can access the web.

While this is not the only solution of it's kind it is definitely one worth mentioning.  Best of all it is easy to use.

Have fun!!

So Much News

There is so much news out there about RSS not to mention almost anything else that you can imagine that it difficult to keep track of it all.  That is if you don't use an RSS news reader of some kind.  Now AOL is offering a news reader back ended by Feedster.  AOL has long tried to personalize it's interface in order to offer it's subscribers more than just access to the web.

According to SearchEngineJournal  the personalization is an RSS feed reader which is powered by Feedster, a leading RSS search engine. The Feedster powered reader is featured on the “My AOL” page for consumers who want fast access to RSS (Really Simple Syndication) feeds for updates of news and content they care about.

What really excites me is that AOL with it's substantial user base will be one more evangelist for the benefits of RSS and aid in the mass adoption of this really cool technology.  Now news from organizations such as PRWeb and eMediawire can be fed real time to AOL users everywhere.

Listen to your RSS Feeds

A new tool allows  you to listen to your RSS feeds instead of reading them.   Okay, I guess this is kind of nifty.  However I have had several applications like email and instant messaging programs in the past where I have turned this very feature off.  It is really annoying to me.  But give it a try.  Who knows?  You may like it.
